Privacy Policy
This policy explains how GOOD GUYS LABS LLC handles information for the SteadySteps Math app and the public website at trysteadysteps.com.
Information stored in the app
The iPhone and iPad app stores learner profile names, avatars, grade level, answers, practice history, reminder preferences, and progress summaries locally on the device. GOOD GUYS LABS LLC does not collect this data through the app. Learner progress does not sync between devices.
Accounts and subscriptions
The app does not require a SteadySteps account, classroom code, or web login. Apple processes App Store purchases, restores, offer-code redemption, refunds, and subscription status. Apple shows the localized price and any applicable offer terms before confirmation. GOOD GUYS LABS LLC does not receive your Apple Account password or payment-card details.
Public website
This public website has no account system, forms, advertising, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics. The hosting and network providers may process ordinary request information, such as an IP address, requested URL, timestamp, browser information, and security signals, to deliver and protect the site. The website does not provide access to the separate web app at app.trysteadysteps.com or change that app’s access policy.
Email you choose to send
If you email support@trysteadysteps.com or feedback@trysteadysteps.com, we receive your email address and the information you voluntarily include so we can respond or review your feedback. Do not send a child’s full name, school, learning records, progress PDF, passwords, payment-card details, or purchase receipt.
Analytics, advertising, and sales of data
The SteadySteps app does not include third-party advertising, analytics, or ad tracking. GOOD GUYS LABS LLC does not sell personal data collected through SteadySteps.
Progress PDF sharing
Progress PDFs are created locally. A PDF leaves the device only when an adult opens the system share sheet and chooses a destination. GOOD GUYS LABS LLC does not receive the PDF unless the adult deliberately sends it to us.
Children’s privacy
SteadySteps is intended for use with parent or guardian involvement. Practice information remains on the device unless an adult deliberately shares it. Please keep child-identifying information out of support and feedback email.
Your choices
You can remove a learner’s local practice data by deleting that profile in the app. You can remove remaining local app data by deleting the app, subject to device backup behavior. You may ask us to delete a support or feedback email by contacting support@trysteadysteps.com; we may retain limited records where required for security, legal, or operational reasons.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the product, website, or legal requirements change. The updated date will appear above. For privacy questions, email our actively monitored support address at support@trysteadysteps.com.
